Hike Adelaide's southern beaches and hills: discover the Willunga Basin Trail

Summary of what we provide and why you should contact us

Working On The Trail

Volunteers have built the Trail by participating in regular work sessions to clear vegetation, plant trees, install signs, benching the track surface. Find out more about the building of the Trail  History of the Trail

Trail work continues at 3 hour sessions held once or twice a week depending on need. Teams of usually  6 to 8 volunteers  maintain and improve the trail by:

  • Path clearing: branch removal and brush cutting
  • Maintenance and improvement of signage and infrastructure
  • Bushcare work : pruning , weed removal and planting.

The variety of work and the team work nature allows volunteers to contribute as they are able.

If the idea of getting out on the trail, with a lively bunch of friends to maintain and improve the Trail and its environs, appeals to you then join WBT Inc
